A590 Reopens After Serious Crash at Meathop Petrol Station Leaves Man With Serious Injuries

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a vehicle crashed into a fuel pump at a BP garage near Meathop Roundabout, causing a fire. The A590 was closed in both directions between Meathop and Mill Side while emergency services responded. The road has reopened westbound, with one lane open eastbound for emergency repairs.
